The Rev. Dr. Jacqueline DeBerry is an ordained Presbyterian minister. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bethel College; a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Memphis Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Memphis Theological Seminary. She has had experience in pastoral care and counseling both in the hospital chaplaincy setting and the church and community. Dr. DeBerry has also had experience working with sexually abused women, children, and men. In addition to other forms of pastoral care and counseling she has also been trained in Theophostics. She was the pastor of the Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Erin, TN; the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, IL; Chapel in the Grove, Lakeland, FL; First Presbyterian Church, Humboldt, TN; and was the denomination’s first woman Editor of The Cumberland Presbyterian Magazine.
Rev. Dr. DeBerry entered the full-time ministry in 1981. Her ministry points to the God of her salvation, the unconditional love and acceptance of her Lord Jesus Christ and the life transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
